With the aim of presenting the results of the project www.visitaltaverapaz.com page supported by the Mipymes y Cooperativas + Competitivas Project and financed by the European Union, in addition to the 2022 work plan, the AGEXPORT Sustainable Tourism Commission visited Carchá, Cobán Alta Verapaz where Andreas Kuestermann, president of the Sustainable Tourism Commission of AGEXPORT, met; Aida Fernández, Manager of the Manufacturing and Services sectors of AGEXPORT; Dagmar Moreno, Coordinator of the Sustainable Tourism Commission of AGEXPORT; Diego Fernández, President of COMITURS Alta Verapaz; member companies of the Alta Verapaz Sustainable Tourism Commission of AGEXPORT -COMITURS AV; tourism entrepreneurs and representatives of tourism associations and Annelisse López Regional Delegate of INGUAT in Alta Verapaz to form work committees that contribute to the Alta Verapaz promotion plan.
This project was announced at the end of last year and our main objective is to strengthen opportunities and access to markets for MSMEs in Alta Verapaz related to tourism.
