This significant mention recognizes the Central American country as a major destination rich in culture, astonishing natural beauty, history, and expanding tourism infrastructure focused on restaurants, hotels, and tours.

Additionally, a visit to Tikal is recommended, one of the greatest archaeological discoveries and urban centers of the pre-Columbian Maya civilization. Located in Petén, Tikal was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979.
